Role OverviewThe Mixing Supervisor leads daily mixing and dough preparation operations in a high-volume environment, ensuring each dough is mixed and fermented to specification while maintaining quality, consistency, and craftsmanship expected of artisan sourdough.
What You Will Do
Key responsibilities include managing mixing, dough preparation, preferment, and long-fermentation processes, evaluating dough development, making timely process adjustments, and coordinating with production teams.

Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of three years of mixing in a commercial bakery or industrial dough-processing experience
- Minimum of two years of supervisory or team-leadership experience in a commercial bakery environment
- Practical knowledge of commercial mixing equipment and batch-production processes
- Demonstrated understanding of dough development, fermentation, hydration, dough temperature, and ingredient functionality
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment
- Working knowledge of GMPs, food safety, allergen controls, sanitation, and production documentation
- Ability to interpret formulas, production schedules, operating procedures, and quality specifications
- Basic computer skills and the ability to accurately complete electronic and written production records
- English required; bilingual English/Spanish strongly preferred
