Job Description
Mauna Kea Resort is seeking a MK Banquets Chef to supervise all banquet food planning and production, ensuring efficient service and high quality of product. The role involves reviewing food and labor costs, assisting with cost control procedures, and overseeing banquet food requisitioning and storage. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of related work experience, a Food Safety Certificate, and Department of Health TB Clearance.
Requirements
Supervise all banquet food planning and production
Review food and labor costs
Assist with cost control procedures
Oversee banquet food requisitioning and storage
Train, counsel, evaluate, and discipline employees
Ensure safety procedures and practices are followed
Make recommendations regarding menu to increase sales and enhance profits
