Role OverviewThe ML School Support Specialist will support and coordinate with school leaders and school personnel within their designated region in the areas of ESOL program, Dual Language, and pathways for the Seal of Biliteracy to build capacity of the school-based teams. Support compliance and student outcomes in accordance with CSUSA policies and applicable laws.
What You Will Do
The ML School Support Specialist will remain informed of changes to ML federal and state laws to support school level compliance, attend conferences, trainings, and meetings regarding state, federal and local law updates and best practices for supporting special populations, and provide support for Multilingual Learner achievement through developing teacher trainings, coaching school based ML Coordinators, and assisting with implementation of Multilingual Learner plans.

Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree (BA) from an accredited college or university or equivalent
- Master's Degree or commensurate experience, preferred
- Valid Florida teaching certificate
- ESOL endorsement (current and completed)
- Experience with developing Multilingual Learner plans
- Successful results of criminal and employment background check
- Minimum of three (3) years successful teaching experience
- Effective instructional delivery techniques and excellent communication skills
- Adherence to the requirements of the Code of Ethics for the Education Profession
