Role OverviewCommuniCare Health Services is recruiting a Mobile Business Office Manager to cover multiple facilities in West Virginia. The role is based in the closest CommuniCare facility and involves travel, including overnight, to support Business Office functions during vacancies or heavy workloads. This is a healthcare business professional position requiring extensive Business Office Management or Mobile Business Office Management experience.
What You Will Do
Complete weekly BOM Admission Checklist and present at morning stand up to reduce exceptions. Verify midnight census testing daily, conduct weekly Medicaid pending/collection blitz meetings, and complete root cause analysis on accounts contributing to bad debt. Supervise business office support staff, meet with residents/responsible parties on financial obligations, and coordinate tasks for timely billing and collection.

Requirements
- Must have 3 - 5 years’ experience in the business office of a Long Term Care facility
- College degree in Business Administration, Accounting/Finance, or related field
- Prior supervisory experience and management training
- Must possess a thorough understanding of Medicare, Medicaid, Private Insurance, Managed Care costing and analysis, personnel management, accounts receivable/collections, resident funds, accounts payable, general ledger, and management of information systems
