Role Overview

The Mobile Crisis Clinician CCBHC works with a multidisciplinary team, providing behavioral health and crisis assessment at The Providence Center and in the community. The role involves conducting level of care and crisis assessments, including suicide risk and danger to others, to clients and non-clients in various settings. The clinician will also conduct comprehensive initial psychosocial assessments and mental status examinations, use psychiatric consultation to determine appropriate levels of care, and collaborate with the care team, other providers, and community agencies to coordinate care.

What You Will Do

The Mobile Crisis Clinician will conduct level of care and crisis assessments, provide evaluations and monthly reporting requirements to external agencies, attend team meetings and case reviews, conduct home visits and community outreach, and maintain accurate, detailed, and timely records of all client interactions and services provided.

The ideal candidate will have a Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, experience in the Human Services field, and Rhode Island licensure as a LICSW or LMHC. The candidate should have knowledge of community resources, proficiency in documentation and electronic record-keeping systems, and excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.

Requirements

  • Master's Degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field
  • Experience in the Human Services field
  • Rhode Island licensure as a LICSW or LMHC
  • Valid driver's license, registration, current inspection sticker, and insured auto
  • Eligible for Qualified Mental Health Professional (QMHP) designation
  • Manual dexterity and mobility required
