Role OverviewThe Mobile Diesel Mechanic will perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, and accurately complete documentation. The ideal candidate is self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills, able to work extended and/or irregular hours, and possesses proper tools. The team is mechanically savvy, with cutting-edge technology that reduces admin time, allowing the mechanic to focus on doing what they love.
What You Will Do
Perform repairs and inspections on Class 6-8 trucks and trailers, schedule and oversee maintenance procedures, repair/replace vehicle/trailer components, obtain parts from local vendors, and accurately complete documentation.

Requirements
- Minimum of 5+ years of diesel and trailer repair experience
- Valid Driver’s License
- Self-motivated with excellent organization and planning skills
- Ability to utilize a computer/tablet for electronic processing of work orders
- 2 years of experience in performing annual federal inspections and brake inspections
- 2 years of experience in truck/trailer maintenance and repair or equivalent combination of experience and education
