Role Overview

Advantage Truck Group has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Diesel Technician to join our Mobile Team. Mobile Technicians are responsible for on site repairs and fleet maintenance for customer accounts along with road-side repairs. This is a great opportunity for a highly skilled, efficient and knowledgeable technician to work independently.

What You Will Do

Performs work on repair order in accordance with dealership and factory standards, raises trucks, buses, and heavy parts or equipment by using hydraulic jacks or hoists, and diagnoses cause of any malfunction and performs repair.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Four+ Years of Experience, Certificate from Technical or Trade School, Brakes Certification, Drive Train Certification, Diesel Engines Certification, Electrical/Electronic Systems Certification, Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning Certification, Suspension and Steering Certification, and Preventive Maintenance Inspection.

Requirements

  • Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery
  • CDL preferred
  • DOT health card required
  • Strong language and communication skills required and concise oral and written skills necessary
  • Ability to regularly lift 50 pounds and occasionally lift up to 100 pounds.
  • Must be able to maintain stationary positions throughout the work day due
  • Must be able to bend, stretch, kneel, and squat to perform required tasks
  • Must be able to stand and walk for prolonged periods
