Role OverviewThe Mobile Fleet Mechanic position is responsible for maintaining vehicle/equipment by completing inspections and preventive maintenance requirements; correcting vehicle/equipment deficiencies; making adjustments and alignments; keeping records. The position works under the direction of the Fleet Manager and is accountable for the tasks of troubleshooting, repairing and maintaining production and facility vehicle/equipment to support daily work activities while maintaining safety objectives and company processes.

Must be willing to travel to different branch locations as needed using company provided service truck. May require occasional overnight stay. ASE Certified preferred but not mandatory.
Requirements

- Must have electrical and drivability diagnostic experience.
- 1-3 years of Mechanic experience of Diesel and Gas engines for on-highway vehicles.
- Light/Medium/Heavy Duty Vehicle & Trailer Repair Experience - Required.
- Off-Highway equipment experience such as front-end loaders, skid steers, mini excavators, forklifts.
- Experience in performing Annual Federal DOT Inspections.
- Class A CDL preferred but not mandatory.
