Mobile Phlebotomist (MAKO)

Requirements

• Travel to Skilled Nursing Facilities and Private Residential homes
• Collect urine and oral fluid specimens and phlebotomy specimens accurately and on time
• Perform clerical duties
• Process and package specimens for transport
• Maintain required records and documentation
• Read and understand departmental policies, protocols and procedures
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Dispose of biohazard containers when scheduled
• Help with inventories and other tasks as assigned
• Stock supplies as needed
• Perform department-related clerical duties when assigned
• Answer phones and dispatch calls when assigned
• Participate on teams and special projects when asked
