Job Description
Orla Mining is seeking a Modeling Geologist to join their team and play a key role in supporting Exploration and Mine Production. The role combines hands-on fieldwork with the use of advanced geospatial tools to support informed decision-making across exploration and production.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in geological sciences or related field
  • Four or more years of modeling geology experience
  • Four or more years of experience with 3D geological modeling software
  • Two or more years of exploration experience
  • Two or more years of geological logging experience (RC and core)
  • Two or more years of geological mapping experience
  • Ability to lift up to 75 pounds, walk over uneven ground for long distances, and withstand extreme hot and cold temperatures
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (intermediate level or higher)
  • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer
  • Must possess a valid driver’s license
