Job Description
Beef Modernization Sorter must have strong observational abilities and perform precision knife cuts to make correct decisions related to pathology, presentation or possible sanitary dressing deficiencies. They work in a high-paced environment and are responsible for Food Safety and Quality.

Requirements

  • Harvest floor knife experience
  • Ability to sharpen a knife and maintain a sharp knife
  • Willingness to learn anatomy, physiology and pathological disease processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and disciplined
  • Interested in work that challenges you mentally
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull product repetitively
  • Work effectively in a TEAM atmosphere
