Job Description
The position is for a Beef Modernization Sorter at JBS USA, working in a high-paced environment with a focus on Food Safety and Quality. The role involves making precision knife cuts and making decisions related to pathology, presentation, and sanitary dressing deficiencies. Beef Modernization Sorters work closely with other harvest floor departments and undergo intensive and recurring training.

Requirements

  • Harvest floor knife experience
  • Ability to sharpen a knife and maintain a sharp knife
  • Willingness to learn anatomy, physiology and pathological disease processes
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Must be detail oriented and disciplined
  • Ability to lift, push, and pull product repetitively
  • Work effectively in a TEAM atmosphere
