Job Description
Perform modernizations and repairs for hydraulic and traction elevators, including installing microprocessor controllers and performing annual safety tests. Assist in determining suitability of elevator equipment and perform other related duties.
Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Certified Elevator Technician degree or Elevator Mechanic License
Knowledge of electrical reading and testing equipment, hoisting and rigging equipment, chain tackles, etc.
Ability to lift and carry tools and materials weighing in excess of 50 pounds
Ability to work safely in close proximity to moving and working equipment
