Job Description
The Packer reports to the Molding Cell Leader and the Packer Supervisor and is responsible for packing molded production parts while ensuring quality by visually inspecting parts for quality defects. They must also perform housekeeping and sorting as required, relieve Packers during breaks and lunches, and cover for absenteeism. The Packer must be able to work with constant exposure to moving machinery and noise, and must have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others as part of a team.

Requirements

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent
  • Constant standing and movements of a repetitious and unchanging nature
  • Fluent in English with good verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well with others as part of a team
  • Ability to give concentrated attention for long periods of time
  • Uses sound judgment to make good decisions
  • Adapts to changing work environments, work priorities and organizational needs
