Job Description
The Packer reports to the Molding Cell Leader and the Packer Supervisor, packing molded production parts while ensuring quality by visually inspecting parts for quality defects. Their responsibilities also include housekeeping and sorting as required, and relieving other Packers for lunches, breaks, and covering for absenteeism.

Requirements

  • Packing production parts into boxes as per packing specifications
  • Obtaining packing supplies from designated spots at each machine
  • Visually inspecting parts for quality defects before placing in boxes
  • Assisting with line clearance when there is a product change
  • Sorting offline production parts as directed by Cell Leaders
  • Completing line inspection form throughout their shift and line clearance checklist form during product change
  • Relieving other Packers for lunches, breaks, and covering for absenteeism
