Job Description

As a Principal Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for project development from preliminary engineering to detail design, construction, and final safe turnover. You will manage electrical engineering services that meet Worley, its customers, and applicable statutory and regulatory specifications, on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
  • 15 years (180 months) of progressive experience in electrical engineering in the oil and gas industry
  • Professional Engineer license required
  • Experience working in multi-disciplinary projects or teams
  • Experience with energy, renewables, oil, gas, and/or chemical plants electrical and power system design, construction, and commissioning
  • Experience applying knowledge of the fundamental requirement of electrical engineering and of applicable local and international standards and statutory and regulatory specifications
  • Experience using relevant software such as MS Office Suite and electrical engineering specific analytical software such as ETAP and SPEL, PSCAD and SKM
