Role Overview

The Monitoring and Evaluation Officer will support the Fund's work on portfolio monitoring, results, and evaluation by joining its Results Impact and Knowledge (RIK) Team. The RIK team supports the Adaptation Fund in strengthening results-based management, portfolio monitoring, evaluation, and institutional learning.

What You Will Do

The successful candidate will be expected to carry out portfolio and results monitoring, including supporting the technical review of project/programme performance reports, leading or participating in portfolio monitoring missions, and tracking the timely completion and quality assurance of reviews.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g. monitoring and evaluation, results-based management, international development, environmental science, or a related field)
  • At least 3 years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, results-based management, or a related field
  • Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
  • Familiarity with the Adaptation Fund's operational policies and guidelines
