Role OverviewSoo Co-op Credit Union is looking for a Mortgage Loan Officer to help members confidently navigate purchasing or refinancing a home. The ideal candidate will have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with members, coworkers, and outside partners. They will also have strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple applications, deadlines, and priorities.
What You Will Do
The Mortgage Loan Officer will build strong, professional relationships with members and guide them through the mortgage application and lending process. They will help members understand their mortgage options and recommend products that best fit their needs. The officer will also manage mortgage applications, coordinate with real estate agents, title companies, appraisers, and other parties, and maintain communication with members throughout the process.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in banking, mortgage lending, financial services, or a related field
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 10 lbs
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods
