Role Overview

The Motor Carrier Enforcement Inspector documents and reports economic violations, investigates complaints, and maintains effective public relations with drivers and law enforcement officers. The role involves utilizing computer equipment, making on-site recommendations, and providing assistance where possible.

What You Will Do

The inspector will document and report economic violations, investigate assigned complaints, utilize portable laptop and other computer equipment, make on-site recommendations, provide assistance where possible, and maintain effective public relations.

Why It Might Be a Fit

The ideal candidate will have 6 months of experience in enforcing commercial motor vehicle laws or regulations, 1 course or 3 months of experience in public relations, and a valid driver's license.

Requirements

  • 6 mos. exp. in enforcing commercial motor vehicle laws or regulations
  • 1 course or 3 mos. exp. in public relations
  • Valid driver's license
