Job Description
The MRI technologist provides MRI images as directed by physicians, nurses, or other clinicians, maintains radiology equipment and supplies, and assists physicians and clinical staff as needed.

Requirements

  • Greet patients and thoroughly explains the examination
  • Prepare patients for MRI procedure by positioning them in such a way that causes the least discomfort
  • Obtain high quality, diagnostic images of the anatomy requested by the physician using appropriate safety precautions
  • Maintain a clean and organized exam room
  • Transfer images to a disc in the event they are needed outside the office
  • Comply with all OSHA mandates for dosimeter readings and quality assurance
