MRO Buyer

Komatsu is seeking an experienced MRO Buyer to support the launch and ongoing success of our new distribution operation in Mesa, Arizona. The ideal candidate is a proactive, results-oriented professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys identifying opportunities for continuous improvement and long-term value creation.

What You Will Do

Identify and select optimal suppliers for production and maintenance needs, manage the cost of assigned materials, maintain records of all transactions, and build and maintain positive, long-term supplier relations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Purchasing, or a related field preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in MRO purchasing, procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain operations.
• Experience utilizing ERP and procurement systems, preferably SAP and/or Ariba Contract Management.
• Knowledge of indirect materials categories, supplier management processes, and cost drivers.
• Experience negotiating contracts, pricing, service agreements, and terms and conditions with suppliers and service providers.
• Strong analytical, research, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and documentation skills with attention to detail.
