Job Description
PQ is seeking a Multi-Craft Technician to maintain on-site equipment and facility infrastructure at PQ Corporation Joliet. The ideal candidate has experience with mechanical, electrical, and instrumented systems and can work as a Journeyman Mechanic or Electrician.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Minimum 5 years of experience working as either a Journeyman Mechanic or Electrician in a manufacturing environment
  • Pass an electrical and instrumentation evaluation as prescribed by PQ Joliet Maintenance Department (if Journeyman Mechanic)
  • Pass a mechanical evaluation as prescribed by PQ Joliet Maintenance Department (if Journeyman Electrician)
  • Attend designated training courses as required
  • Strong work ethic, good decision-making skills, and firm understanding of life critical safety procedures
