Role Overview

As a Multi Trade Technician, you will provide a wide variety of basic to advanced maintenance procedures to buildings and equipment, including repairs, preventative maintenance, fire and life safety inspections, and facilities improvements and modernization. You will work independently and as part of a team, demonstrating knowledge of tasks and ability to assist at all campuses. You will be responsible for record keeping, tracking tasks completed daily, and adhering to departmental policy and procedures.

What You Will Do

You will independently perform basic and advanced repairs from start to finish in a timely manner, utilizing the automated Maintenance Request System. You will also perform tasks required with construction and renovation projects in a safe and efficient manner, accurately reading blueprints or schematic drawings.

Requirements

  • High School Graduate or equivalent with Technical School training preferred
  • Minimum 4 years previous general maintenance or construction work
  • Knowledge of healthcare setting and ability to read blueprints or schematic drawings desirable
  • Current Massachusetts driver’s license required
  • Special Operator’s License must be obtained within 90 days of hire
