Role OverviewThe Multi-Unit General Manager will be responsible for ensuring that all customers who enter the stores are professionally assisted with the purchase of eyewear. The role is a leadership position, responsible for enforcing all Eyemart policies and procedures. The Multi-Unit General Manager will perform sales, customer service, lab, and administrative work, in addition to ordering materials and supplies, inventory control, home office reporting, establishing and monitoring lab production, store sales, and quality goals.
What You Will Do
The Multi-Unit General Manager will manage daily operations of multiple stores, meet all Eyemart standards, manage store employees, assign duties, establish performance standards and work schedules, hire, train, motivate, mentor, counsel, measure performance, and terminate when appropriate. The role also involves ensuring proper workflow in the store's lab, maintaining store sales goals, and developing leadership talent.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of retail optical management experience, excellent hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills, and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. The candidate should also be able to work effectively in tandem with direct reports, prioritize and delegate store workloads, and establish effective working relationships with direct reports.
Requirements
