Job Description
DHI Communities is a multifamily development division of D.R. Horton, Inc. looking for a Development Associate - Multifamily in the Operations Department. The candidate will assist the Managing Director in various tasks related to direct development of assigned projects.

Requirements

  • Source and underwrite development opportunities
  • Prepare pro-formas and financial projections for potential developments projects
  • Conduct field investigations
  • Manage zoning, entitlement, and permitting activities
  • Perform underwriting process
  • Establish project timeline and spending forecasts
  • Compile components for investment packages
  • Present development opportunities
  • Coordinate with construction personnel
  • Work with third party consultants
  • Strategize with property management companies
  • Support Development team in running the disposition process
  • Establish and maintain communication and progress with local officials
  • Participate in decision making process
