Requirements
Enterprise, pitch, and develop original story ideas
Report, shoot, and edit video for daily newscasts, digital platforms, and social media
Write clear, accurate, and engaging scripts for broadcast and digital in AP style
Conduct interviews, gather facts, verify information, and maintain ethical newsgathering standards
Maintain and operate station equipment, including cameras, lighting, microphones, and editing software
Monitor scanners and respond quickly to breaking news
