Job Description
WILX TV has an opportunity for an ambitious and talented Multi-Media Journalist to cover major stories in a capital city adjacent to a Big 10 University. The successful candidate will be responsible for researching, writing, shooting, and presenting news stories that grab viewer's attention.

Requirements

  • Excellent writing and communication skills
  • Ability to shoot and edit video
  • Reliable ethical news judgment, knowledge of legal issues, and strong attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills, flexibility, and ability to multitask and meet deadlines under pressure
  • Interview news sources for accuracy, balance, completeness, and credibility
  • Maintain a professional appearance
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
