Job Description
We are seeking a Multimedia Journalist to join our team at KBJR-TV in Duluth, MN. The ideal candidate will be a dynamic storyteller who can gather news for broadcast, web, and other platforms. The successful candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience and professional broadcasting experience is preferred.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
  • Professional broadcasting experience preferred
  • Ability to have flexible scheduling is preferred
  • Must possess good verbal and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy required, including ENPS news system
  • Knowledge of broadcast-quality camera equipment
  • Edit video on Edius or similar equipment
  • Strong broadcast and AP-style writing skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
  • Must have a Valid Driver's License
