Role Overview

Join HDR's growing multimodal team in downtown Denver and help shape the future of mobility across Colorado. As a Multimodal Transportation EIT, you'll collaborate with industry-leading planners and engineers to design safer, more connected transit, bicycle, and pedestrian networks.

What You Will Do

Work on a team with other project engineers on the detailed design of urban and rural transportation projects of varying size and complexity. Take responsibility for alignment and profile, geometrics, drainage, development of plans and construction cost estimates. Support the creation and submission of technical reports, memos, specifications, and calculations.

Why It Might Be a Fit

We are looking for an Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate holder with proficiency in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD, and familiarity with Highways and Roads engineering software. Candidates without their EIT will be placed into a Design Coordinator job code and will be expected to obtain their EIT for career progression.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or similar field
  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certificate
  • Proficient with MicroStation and/or AutoCAD
  • Familiarity with Highways and Roads engineering software such as Bentley ConceptStation and Open Roads Designer and/or Autodesk Infraworks and Civil3D
