Role OverviewMagellan Aerospace is a global, integrated aerospace company that provides complex assemblies and systems solutions to aircraft and engine manufacturers, and defence and space agencies worldwide. The successful incumbent will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining both numerically controlled (NC/CNC) and conventional (manual) grinding machines to manufacture high-precision aerospace components.
What You Will Do
The successful incumbent will be responsible for setting up and operating N/C/CNC grinding machines (surface, cylindrical, and centerless) for aerospace components, and performing precision grinding operations to extremely tight tolerances and surface finish requirements.

Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent (technical training preferred)
- Experience operating CNC/NC and conventional grinding machines
- Strong understanding of grinding processes, cutting tools, and aerospace materials
- Ability to read and interpret aerospace drawings and GD&T
- Proficiency with precision measuring instruments
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and within a team environment
- Experience in aerospace manufacturing
- Familiarity with aerospace quality standards such as AS9100
- CNC programming or G-code editing experience
- Certification in machining or manufacturing technology
- Experience with SPC (Statistical Process Control)
