Job Description
National Account Director responsible for developing and implementing national and managed care strategies, building relationships, and managing contracts with GPOs, payers, and trade accounts.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience
  • 10+ years of direct experience managing large national accounts, including payers, PBMs, and GPOs
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience negotiating and managing contracts with Vizient, Premier, and/or their affiliated regional and IDN subgroups
  • Experience with hospital-based product launches and hospital contracting strategies
  • Previous Cardiology or Hospital Drug experience
  • Extensive knowledge of government and commercial payer coverage, reimbursement landscapes, and hospital purchasing models
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
  • Strong planning, negotiation, and executive-level communication skills
  • Ability to clearly present complex information to multiple stakeholder groups
