Job Description
The National Account Director will strategize and work collaboratively to gain and maintain product access and coverage across national and GPO channels, while building long-term relationships for the company’s product. The role requires experience managing large national accounts, negotiating contracts with Vizient, Premier, and other GPOs, and developing coverage and reimbursement strategies.

Requirements

  • BA/BS degree required
  • 10+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience
  • 10+ years of direct experience managing large national accounts
  • Demonstrated hands-on experience negotiating and managing contracts with Vizient, Premier, and/or their affiliated regional and IDN subgroups
  • Previous Cardiology or Hospital Drug experience
  • Extensive knowledge of government and commercial payer coverage, reimbursement landscapes, and hospital purchasing models
  • Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
  • Strong planning, negotiation, and executive-level communication skills
