Role OverviewYou will strategize and work collaboratively and cross-functionally to gain and maintain appropriate product access and coverage across national and group purchasing organization (GPO) channels. You will develop and implement national and managed care strategies while building long-term, positive, and profitable relationships for the company's product. You will lead direct engagement with Group Purchasing Organizations (GPOs), including but not limited to Vizient, Premier, and their associated regional and IDN subgroups.
What You Will Do
Develop and implement national and managed care strategies, lead direct engagement with GPOs, own strategy, negotiation, and ongoing relationship management with GPOs, conduct financial analysis, develop value-based proposals, secure internal approvals, negotiate terms and conditions, and implement contractual agreements.

10+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience, 10+ years of direct experience managing large national accounts, including payers, PBMs, and GPOs, demonstrated hands-on experience negotiating and managing contracts with Vizient, Premier, and/or their affiliated regional and IDN subgroups.
Requirements
- BA/BS degree
- 10+ years of pharmaceutical and/or biotech experience
- 10+ years of direct experience managing large national accounts, including payers, PBMs, and GPOs
- Demonstrated hands-on experience negotiating and managing contracts with Vizient, Premier, and/or their affiliated regional and IDN subgroups
- Experience with hospital-based product launches and hospital contracting strategies
- Previous Cardiology or Hospital Drug experience
- Extensive knowledge of government and commercial payer coverage, reimbursement landscapes, and hospital purchasing models
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional partners
- Strong planning, negotiation, and executive-level communication skills
- Ability to clearly present complex information to multiple stakeholder groups
