Job Description
As a National Account Manager at Hoffmaster, you will drive growth, strengthen partnerships, and deliver results by executing strategic account plans and building strong relationships with customers. This role sits at the center of Hoffmaster's customer strategy and directly impacts revenue growth, margin performance, and long-term partnerships.

Requirements

  • Own and execute strategic account plans, ensuring alignment with Hoffmaster's sales, growth, and profitability goals
  • Serve as the primary customer contact, building strong, trusted relationships that drive engagement and satisfaction
  • Manage contract execution and negotiations, supporting implementation, renewals, and ongoing compliance
  • Analyze market and customer insights, using data, trends, and competitive intelligence to inform account strategy
  • Lead customer business reviews, including line reviews, promotional planning, and state-of-the-business discussions
  • Develop accurate volume forecasts, supporting base business, promotions, and new product launches
  • Identify risks and growth opportunities, proactively recommending pricing and portfolio strategies to leadership
  • Communicate strategy and results, presenting operating plans, performance updates, and growth opportunities to Sales and Executive Leadership
  • Partner cross-functionally, working with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Product Development to evaluate customer needs and solutions
  • Support new product development, providing customer insight on product design, packaging, and merchandising
  • Conduct field research, identifying competitive positioning, whitespace opportunities, and expansion within existing accounts
  • Ensure forecast accuracy, partnering with Marketing and Production Planning to support supply and execution
