Job Description
The Maryland State Department of Education is seeking a National Board State Coordinator to direct, coordinate, and develop state initiatives relating to National Board Certification programs.
Requirements
Direct, coordinate, and develop state initiatives relating to National Board Certification programs
Work in partnership with Maryland local education agency National Board Coordinators and Facilitators
Coordinate all programs designed to encourage and support Maryland teachers in obtaining and maintaining National Board Certification
Recruit and champion the diversification and inclusion of teachers into the NBC process
Develop a culture of collaborative support for accomplished teaching
