National Purchasing Analyst

The National Purchasing Analyst will support the purchasing function by organizing, analyzing, and identifying data to assist in purchasing decision making. The focus will be on controlling and lowering construction costs to increase company profitability. The role will involve working with purchasing managers and division personnel to provide confidential pricing and product information. The Analyst will also be responsible for evaluating and recommending suppliers based on price, quality, availability, reliability, and technical support.

What You Will Do

The National Purchasing Analyst will perform the following duties: support purchasing decision making, research internal data to implement cost savings opportunities, evaluate and participate in supplier proposal selection, research external data for forecasting future impact, collect and present cost and bid comparisons, develop purchasing reports, and evaluate procurement processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university
• Strong analytical and statistical skills
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written oral form or via DRH applications
• Proficiency with MS Office and email
• Ability to sit for majority of 8-hour workday; use hands and fingers to handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear
