Job Description
The Ohio Department of Agriculture is seeking a Natural Resources Administrator 1 to provide grazing assistance and expertise for the H2Ohio program and other nonpoint source pollution abatement programs statewide. The position involves assisting Soil and Water Conservation Districts with producer follow-up, questions, and inquiries related to livestock management, site visits, conservation planning, mapping, nutrient management, conducting inventories and evaluations, and developing Grazing Management Plans.

Requirements

  • Competitive salary: $67,288 - $95,867 Annually
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a natural resources specialty, such as agriculture, environmental science, or conservation biology
  • 2 years of experience in natural resources, or 48 months of training or a combination of both
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours
