Role OverviewThe Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) is seeking a Natural Resources Technician 1 to work in the Division of Natural Areas and Preserves, headquartered at Eagle Creek State Nature Preserve. The role involves providing exceptional customer service, maintaining safe and clean environments at nature preserves, and performing grounds maintenance and upkeep.
What You Will Do
The successful candidate will be responsible for grounds maintenance, performing duties such as mowing, light carpentry, and removing invasive plant species. They will also drive work vehicles to perform maintenance and ecological management duties on state nature preserves throughout north-central Ohio.

Requirements
- Valid driver's license
- Formal education in arithmetic that includes addition, subtraction, multiplication & division & in reading & speaking common English vocabulary
- Transcripts for all coursework, degrees or educational accomplishments claimed on the application
