Role OverviewAs a Software Engineer/Developer for NAVAIR, you'll collaborate with talented professionals to create innovative, mission-critical solutions that empower naval aviation and defense operations.
What You Will Do
Modify planning artifacts, track and participate in on-site testing, track results, data review, analysis and relevant IFC signoff of software releases for software sustainment for MQ-9A Air Vehicle / Ground Control software.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must have a DoD Secret clearance, with ability to obtain an Interim Top Secret to start. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Occasional CONUS travel will be required.
Requirements
- DoD Secret clearance
- U.S. Citizen
- Bachelor's degree
- 10+ years of related work experience
- Knowledge in being a Technical Area Expert (TAE) in SW Engineering domain to support USN/USMC Category 3 Interim Flight Clearance (IFC) approval for the MQ-9A Reaper effort
- Knowledge in software tools to Monitor software deliverables for MQ-9A Air Vehicle / Ground Control System / Support Equipment software
