Role OverviewWe are seeking a Submarine Towed Array Systems Technician to join our team in San Diego, CA. This role supports U.S. Navy Submarines under the direction of the Southwest Regional Maintenance Center (SWRMC) and serves as the technical Subject Matter Expert (SME).
What You Will Do
Direct, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the Reelable Towed Array Handling System (RTAHS) aka Fat Line Towed Array (FLTA) and Deployable Array Working Group (DAWG) aka Thin Lined Towed Array (TLTA).

Requirements
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be able to obtain an Active Secret Clearance
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 6+ years of related experience with associated systems
- Fiber Optics Technician Certificate
- Proficient in troubleshooting and maintaining communication systems
- Strong technical comprehension with the ability to read and interpret manuals and standards
- Effective communication skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related technical applications
