What You Will Do

Read job specifications to determine machine adjustments, material requirements, quantity, and job sequence. Manually sets tools and punches as specified by setup sheets. Observes machine operation to detect workpiece defects or machine malfunction.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Must be willing and able to work overtime as an extension to a normal workday or on weekends, as scheduled. Must work cohesively with machine operators, maintenance, and others. Must be proficient in AS400 and Microsoft applications.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Must have the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
  • Must be able to operate a crane, previous forklift experience is highly preferred
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.; ability to walk, climb, balance, stoop, kneel or crouch
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include color vision and peripheral vision
  • Manual dexterity in hands for various tool usage
