Job Description
We are seeking a NDE/Welding Inspector to join our team supporting the Oak Ridge National Laboratory! This position is full-time and will be based out of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma and 5+ years of relevant experience
  • US citizenship
  • Government issued clearance
  • Current and valid American Welding Society certified welding inspector (CWI) certificate
  • ASNT SNT TC 1A level II liquid penetrant (PT) and visual inspection (VT) qualifications
  • Working knowledge of ASNT, ASME B31, AWS B2.1, AWS D1.1, AWS D1.2, AWS D1.6, AWS D9.1, & ASME boiler and pressure vessel codes/specs/standards
  • Ability to produce isometric sketches for documentation purposes by hand or CAD
  • Written and verbal communication and the ability to use basic office software
