Network Administrator

Supports, analyzes, and documents an Enterprise WAN/LAN/WLAN focused on corporate offices, stores, and distribution centers. Installs, configures, and maintains all network hardware and software to meet network performance requirements of the company. Diagnoses, resolves and documents hardware and software network problems in a timely and accurate manner, ensuring minimal downtime.

What You Will Do

Maintain an atmosphere of friendly, enthusiastic customer service with an emphasis on taking care of the customer. Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers by telephone, email, and in person. Collaborate with IT Staff to create optimal network performance and configurations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in an IT related field OR an equivalent combination education, training and experience
• Minimum of three (3) years networking experience gained in the last seven (7) years OR equivalent education, training and/or experience demonstrating considerable knowledge of network administration
• Applying technical knowledge of network operating systems Cisco IOS
• Demonstrating knowledge of wired and wireless network infrastructure
• Administration of SNMP MIB based network monitoring system
• Effectively utilizing Netflow to diagnose high level network issues
• Applying technical knowledge in at least three of the following five areas: network routing protocols (OSPF, BGP, HSRP, VRRP); switching protocols LaCP, PaGP, Etherchannel); security protocols (IPSec, GRE, 802.1x); wireless 802.11a/b/g/n; WAN protocols (DMVPN, MPLS)
