Role Overview

The Network Administrator is responsible for managing telecommunications and network-related services that support Commonwealth agencies and business operations. This role oversees the lifecycle management of network circuits and connectivity services, including ordering, provisioning, upgrades, relocations, and service cancellations. The Network Administrator serves as a key liaison between EOTSS, telecommunications vendors, service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure the timely delivery and ongoing management of critical network services.

What You Will Do

Coordinate the ordering, provisioning, upgrade, relocation, and cancellation of telecommunications circuits and network connectivity services. Track circuit installations and service requests to ensure timely completion and accurate implementation. Serve as the primary point of contact for telecommunications vendors and service providers.

Requirements

  • Experience managing telecommunications circuits, network services, or enterprise IT infrastructure inventories
  • Strong knowledge of telecommunications technologies
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Excel and spreadsheet-based tracking systems
  • Experience developing and maintaining databases, data repositories, or inventory management platforms
  • Familiarity with reporting and analytics tools such as Power BI, SQL, or similar technologies
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience with vendor management, contract tracking, and service lifecycle management
  • Ability to communicate effectively with technical teams, business stakeholders, vendors, and service providers
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Experience supporting budgeting, procurement, inventory management, or operational reporting functions
