Role OverviewThe Network Analyst will operate and maintain the Army-Wide Network Enterprise, providing services to over a million users throughout the world for both Unclassified and Classified networks. The analyst will interface with Remote Network Enterprise Centers (RNEC) and Defense Information Systems Agencies (DISA) throughout the country and provide technical assistance. The analyst will install, configure, and maintain network protocols to routers, switches, and firewalls on Cisco and Juniper devices.
What You Will Do
Identify and resolve network connectivity and performance issues. Determine efficiency, reliability, and compatibility with existing systems, using Secure CRT and Appgate SDP. Analyze workload, including traffic and utilization using Wireshark. Monitor network performance using Spectrum and NDFC.
Why It Might Be a Fit
Must be familiar with protocols to include ACL, BGP, IPv6, NTP, SNMP, Spanning Tree, VPN, VRF. Provide advance troubleshooting to identify and solve network problems to critical real-world scenarios. Maintain professionalism during high stress situations.
