Role OverviewThe Network Deploy Technician will work in a dynamic environment to drive the stability and sustainability of our next-generation networks and assist in the development of innovative ways to automate and scale our network.
What You Will Do
Daily responsibilities include participating in the migration, basic configuration and rollout of new or upgraded hardware, managing work and priorities through ticketing system and workflows, and troubleshooting networking, routing and inter connectivity issues.
Why It Might Be a Fit
The ideal candidate is sufficiently autonomous, detail oriented, possesses strong written and verbal communication skills, and has some experience in supporting large scale, enterprise class networks.
Requirements
- High school or equivalent diploma
- 1+ years of data center experience
- Associate's degree in information technology or computer science (preferred)
- CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, Cisco/CCNA, Linux (Redhat), Microsoft hardware (installation), AWS, or other industry relevant certifications (preferred)
- Experience with common tools related to network troubleshooting, including VFLs, OTDR and power meters
- Knowledge of major Command Line Protocols (Cisco IOS, JunOS, GNU/Linux) and common Networking Protocols (BGP, OSPF)
