Role OverviewAWS seeks a highly motivated Network Engineer to drive the expansion of AWS's next-generation IP network infrastructure, innovating in network automation and cloud networking technologies. The ideal candidate will leverage their knowledge of networking concepts and experience in large-scale enterprise or service provider environments to drive complex issues to resolution autonomously or collaboratively.
What You Will Do
Responsibilities include leading the planning, design, and execution of large-scale network scaling and build projects, utilizing coding best practices and custom automation frameworks for seamless scalability and rapid resource provisioning. You will also maintain Amazon Web Services’ next generation networks for significant AWS customers, troubleshoot network routing, interconnectivity, platforms, performance, and configurations issues.

Requirements
- 5+ years of major internet routing protocols experience
- Bachelor's degree, or CEH (Certified Ethical Hacker) or CFR (CyberSec First Responder) or Cloud+ or GICSP (Global Industrial Cyber Security Professional) or SSCP (Systems Security Certified Practitioner)
- 4+ years of working in a Linux/Unix environment experience
- Knowledge of networking protocols, to include HTTP(S), DNS, and TCP/IP
- Experience in Agile methodologies and DevOps practices
