Job Description
D.R. Horton, Inc. is seeking a Network Engineer II to manage, maintain, and troubleshoot complex network infrastructures, collaborate with IT teams, and provide technical support for escalated issues.

Requirements

  • Maintain computer networks including routers, switches, VPNs, and other physical hardware/software
  • Troubleshoot, resolve, and communicate networking issues to other employees and management
  • Research, install, configure, and upgrade network hardware and software
  • Create firewall rules and update software and data security systems
  • Implement disaster recovery procedures
  • Provide on-site support for projects that require on-site installation and support
  • Design and implement new network solutions and/or improve the efficiency of current networks
  • Arrange scheduled upgrades
  • Investigating faults in the network
  • Update network equipment to the latest firmware releases
  • Report on network status to key stakeholders
  • Improve knowledge and understanding of network and security best practices
  • Participate in on-call rotation
  • Ability to travel overnight
  • Regular and reliable attendance
