Job Description
Network Engineer III (Hybrid) needed for a contract position in St. Louis, Missouri. Design, deploy, and manage secure network architectures, monitor and respond to security incidents, and collaborate with IT teams to integrate security best practices.

Requirements

  • Certifications in security, CompTIA, and related fields
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in network security engineering, cybersecurity, or related roles
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, network protocols, firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, and DDoS mitigation
  • Hands-on experience with security tools like Splunk, NetScout, vulnerability scanners, and endpoint protection platforms
  • Familiarity with cloud security (Cloudhub, AWS, Azure, Mule) and security frameworks
  • Certifications such as CISSP, CCNP Security, PCNSA/PCNSE, CEH, CompTIA Security+, or equivalent are a plus
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
