Job Description
ActioNet is seeking a Network Engineer Jr to join our team in Multiple CONUS sites across ME (Bangor), MI (Battle Creek), TN (Chattanooga), NH (Portsmouth), VA (Vienna), WI (Madison, Milwaukee), and OH (Columbus, Toledo, Springfield) for a temporary contract role starting October 10, 2025.

Requirements

  • Takes direction and performs tasks in support of Journeyman and Senior Network Engineers
  • Assists with developing designs, configurations, and implementations of data networks based on customers' performance and specifications
  • Conducts site surveys and network assessments to determine the best hardware and software components for network upgrades
  • Supports preliminary and final SPRIP development
  • Ensures installations are performed within safety standards and work site conditions (cleanliness)
  • Supports design and implementation of secure networks, systems, and application architectures
  • Supports network management such as SNMP, SYSLOG, and orchestration
  • Contributes to deliverables and performance metrics where applicable
  • Assists the O&M team in troubleshooting network-related issues post-deployment of the new systems
